This guide covers what exhibitors need to know about GITEX Global 2026. After 45 years at DWTC, GITEX moves to Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, and from October to December.

What is different this year
- The GITEX Scale Summit opens the week on 7 December at DWTC. The exhibition runs from 8 to 11 December at Dubai Exhibition Centre.
- Expand North Star, the startup show, was at Dubai Harbour in 2025. In 2026 it joins GITEX at Dubai Exhibition Centre.
- A new citywide programme called TechCation adds evening and leisure events across Dubai.
6 things to watch out for as an exhibitor
1. Use the full hall code
Dubai Exhibition Centre lists GITEX in North Halls N21 to N39, South Halls S1 to S19, and Pavilions N1, N2, S1 and S2. North and South are separate concourses. Put the hall code on every invitation, so that buyers go to the correct side.
2. Get the height limit in writing
The venue says its South Halls have 10 m ceilings and a 240 m column-free span. GITEX has not published its 2026 stand height limit. Confirm it before you approve a design.
3. Catering and rigging come from the venue
Dubai Exhibition Centre calls catering and rigging its exclusive services. Its support line is 800 EVENT (38368). Do not plan to bring an outside caterer or rigger.
4. Day one is at a different venue
The Scale Summit is at DWTC on 7 December, and the halls open at Expo City on 8 December. The venue is in Dubai South, near Al Maktoum International Airport. Plan transport for staff who attend both days.
5. Build-up runs over National Day
National Day is on 2 and 3 December, and the show opens on 8 December. GITEX has not published its build-up dates. Confirm that permits, deliveries and crews work on the holiday days.
6. Every crew member needs a pass
At DWTC, every person in the halls or loading area during build-up needs a digital pass from the DWTC Contractor+ Portal. DWTC also runs Dubai Exhibition Centre. Ask whether the same portal and deadlines apply at Expo City.
Who else will be there
- Microsoft, AMD and Oracle all spoke about their 2025 stands in the organiser's closing report.
- The 2,000 startups of Expand North Star are now on the same site as the main show.
- More than 400 government entities are expected, and they usually take large stands.
- The 1,200 investors in 2025 included backers of more than 40 unicorns.
The venue and the city that week
- Dubai Exhibition Centre has 21 halls and can host up to 8 events at the same time. Its South Halls alone cover 62,818 m².
- Expo 2020 Station on the Dubai Metro Red Line is next to the venue.
- The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix runs from 3 to 6 December, and the MEBAA Show runs next door at Dubai South from 8 to 10 December.
- TechCation events run across the city during show week, so evening venues and restaurants fill up.
