What is different this year

  • MRO Middle East and Aircraft Interiors Middle East 2027 run from 2 to 3 February at DWTC. In 2026 they used Hall 1 and Za'abeel Halls 1 to 3.
  • In 2026 the show added a hall and passed 300 exhibitors for the first time.
  • Breakbulk Middle East runs at DWTC on the same two days.

6 things to watch out for as an exhibitor

1. Send stand plans a month early

In 2026, all island and raw-space plans had to reach the plan reviewer by 2 January. A stand of 4 m or higher, a double-deck, a raised platform or anything hung from the roof counts as complex, and its review cost US$700. A standard stand cost US$250.

2. Height depends on your stand type

An in-line stand can have a 2.5 m back wall, or 4 m with approval. An island stand can go to 4 m, or 6 m with approval, signs included. Hanging signs and double-decks are allowed only on island stands, and you cannot drill into the floor.

3. The build is very short

In 2026, space-only stands had two build days and had to finish by 18:00 the day before opening. Early access cost US$3,250 and overnight work cost US$2,150.

4. Insurance has a deadline

In 2026, every contractor needed US$2,000,000 of public liability insurance, due by 2 January. The contractor form had to reach the organiser at least four weeks before the show.

5. Only DWTC can rig

The DWTC Rigging Department is the only rigger. It needs your banner images and a scale drawing of the grid, and every chain hoist needs a valid test certificate.

6. Dismantling is tightly timed

In 2026, only hand-carried valuables could leave between 16:00 and 16:30 on the last day. Everything had to be gone by 15:00 the next day, and anything left was treated as waste.

Who else will be there

  • Aircraft Interiors Middle East runs on the same floor, so cabin and interiors suppliers share the visitors.
  • At the 2026 show, GMF AeroAsia announced a new Middle East facility.
  • The flyadeal CEO said at the 2026 show that every low-cost airline is looking at which maintenance work it can bring in-house.

The venue and the city that week

  • The World Governments Summit runs from 1 to 3 February 2027, so hotels fill with official delegations.
  • Breakbulk Middle East shares DWTC loading bays and car parks on the same days.
  • Children under 16 are not allowed in the halls during build-up, show days or breakdown.
